Job Summary

As a Customer Experience Agent, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers through various channels, including phone, email, and chat. You'll be the face of arenaflex, and your primary goal will be to resolve customer issues in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. Key Responsibilities

* Field incoming customer service calls, assuming responsibility to resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner

  • Research account status and identify account issues
  • Address billing inquiries and resolve billing disputes
  • Process disconnection and re-connection requests
  • Enroll customers and resolve enrollment issues
  • Initiate collection activity on past due accounts and process disconnection and re-connection requests
  • Serve as a customer advocate while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies associated with the role

Skills and Qualifications

* Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required: You'll be able to communicate effectively with our customers in both English and Spanish.

  • Outstanding phone etiquette and polished communication skills: You'll possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent listening skills: You'll be able to actively listen to customers, understand their concerns, and respond accordingly.
  • Ability to maintain a calm demeanor when dealing with agitated customers: You'll be able to remain composed and professional, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Attentive to detail and committed to high-quality customer service: You'll be meticulous in your work, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills: You'll be able to analyze complex customer issues, identify solutions, and implement effective resolutions.
  • Willingness to identify problems and suggest process improvements: You'll be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and suggesting innovative solutions to enhance our customer experience.
  • Proficiency in Windows environment and MS Word and Excel applications: You'll be comfortable working in a Windows environment and have basic proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where change is commonplace: You'll be adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities and processes may change frequently.

Experience

* Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inbound call center environment: You'll have a solid foundation in customer service, with experience handling customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.

  • Customer care experience strongly preferred: You'll have a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences, with a focus on building strong relationships and resolving customer complaints.
  • Experience within the retail electricity industry strongly preferred: You'll have a deep understanding of the Electricity industry, including its unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Experience in similar markets such as utilities, telecom, or cable preferred: You'll have a broad understanding of the customer service landscape, with experience handling customer inquiries in various industries.
