Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Customer Service & Sales Professional, you will be responsible for:
- Providing fast, friendly service to customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
- Learning about products and services, and recommending solutions to meet customer needs
- Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing sales with customers in assigned departments
- Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
- Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards
- Working in cooperation with Department Supervisors and other associates in assigned departments
- Participating in sales promotions, events, and initiatives to drive sales growth and customer engagement
- Collaborating with other departments to provide a seamless customer experience
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, and providing feedback to management on customer needs and sales performance
Essential Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or industry-related setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet sales targets
- Strong product knowledge and ability to learn about new products and services
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash, operating a point-of-sale system, and processing transactions
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2+ years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or industry-related setting
- Experience working in a sales environment, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
