Job Summary:
Join the arenaflex team as an Experienced Customer Service and Sales Professional, where you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences across various departments. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance. You will learn about products using our tools, and provide information to customers in order to sell an entire project. With a focus on customer satisfaction, safety, and teamwork, you will work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance
- Learn about products using our tools, and provide information to customers in order to sell an entire project
- Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department
- Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, and ensure it is clean, shop-able, and safe
- Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, immediately correcting hazards & unsafe conditions or reporting conditions to the Manager on Duty
- Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
- Participate in sales promotions, events, and activities to drive sales growth and customer engagement
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products, services, and promotions to provide expert advice to customers
- Utilize technology, such as our sales tools and systems, to enhance the customer experience and drive sales growth
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, and Tool Rental, to provide a seamless customer experience
Essential Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or related environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Strong product knowledge and sales skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2+ years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or related environment
- Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with other departments
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with retail software and systems
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
