Key Responsibilities:

As an Engineering Technical Lead – Modules and Sensing Mechatronic Hardware at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading Technical Specialist meetings and Hardware Meetings to drive technical excellence and ensure the delivery of high-quality products
  • Providing detailed knowledge of hardware and software interfaces at an architecture level to inform product development decisions
  • Guiding product development teams through consultation and guidance at product development team meetings
  • Driving CCC strategies for in-production components to ensure safety and regulatory compliance
  • Driving virtualization/validation development to improve product quality and reduce costs
  • Reviewing and providing input on Program SORs, Sourcing Decisions, BOM picks, and Supplier Development and Qualification
  • Creating and maintaining Best Practices and Packaging Criteria to ensure consistency and quality
  • Supporting advance development, program teams, and early packaging discussions to drive innovation and excellence
  • Driving Peer Reviews and capturing issues in lessons learned to improve product quality and reduce defects
  • Supporting robust Global requirements development and driving closed-loop learning with the center of expertise team
  • Driving alignment with software and electrical architecture teams to ensure seamless integration and quality
  • Supporting PRTS Issue Resolution by providing technical leadership for troubleshooting activities
  • Performing/leading due diligence step resolution for Safety Tether PRTS
  • Supporting Assembly Plant issue resolution and read across to ensure quality and safety
  • Knowing current and past applications to support product investigations (SFI Process)
  • Reviewing read across for NHTSA Recalls of competitors working with technical specialists
  • Supporting process improvement initiatives and championing continuous improvement
  • Owning and driving Technical Specialist meeting and Peer review process
  • Interfacing and driving requirements and priority with Systems Engineering
  • Reviewing DFMEA, PFMEA, and SFMEA rolldown (read across)

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering, with a focus on mechatronic hardware and software interfaces
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams and driving technical excellence
  • Strong knowledge of hardware and software interfaces at an architecture level
  • Experience with CCC strategies, virtualization/validation development, and Peer Reviews
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive root cause analysis and resolution

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

  • Experience with systems engineering, advance development, and supplier development
  • Knowledge of software and electrical architecture teams and their integration with mechatronic hardware
  • Experience with PRTS Issue Resolution, Safety Tether PRTS, and Assembly Plant issue resolution
  • Familiarity with NHTSA Recalls and competitor analysis
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to drive technical teams and drive results
