Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment, and supporting the overall success of our stores. Your key priorities will include:

  • Providing customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive shopping experience for all customers
  • Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor
  • Independently stocking shelves and recovering merchandise in the store, ensuring that products are easily accessible and visible to customers
  • Accurately handling customer funds and processing transactions using the POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Remaining constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, responding promptly to any concerns or issues that may arise
  • Performing all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and you should be able to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned
  • Experience: Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred, but not required
  • Physical Requirements: You'll need to be able to regularly lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally, up to 55lbs) from floor level to above shoulder height, and meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Availability: You'll need to be able to work a flexible, full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Problem Solving/Decision Making: You'll need to be able to think critically and make sound decisions, responding to customer concerns and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Job Knowledge: You'll need to have a good understanding of retail operations, including store policies and procedures, and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical way
  • Relationship Management: You'll need to be able to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and management, and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment
