Experienced Data Entry Clerk – Alternate Investments (Remote Opportunity)

Job Summary
As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for processing trade deal purchases, determining and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents, and reconciling transactions and returns activity. You will also be responsible for analyzing complex issues, testing and validating new technology enhancements, and communicating with external partners and stakeholders. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and determine/address breaks recognized between TD Ameritrade and the fund companies or transfer agents
- Reconcile transactions and returns activity, including Corporate Activity Activities
- Analyze complex issues and escalate to management as necessary
- Test and validate new technology enhancements and provider modifications
- Communicate with external partners and stakeholders, including fund companies, transfer agents, and other external business partners
- Review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding
- Troubleshoot internal/external system issues or concerns
- Provide method or innovation service alternatives to management
- Remediating transfer issues with the fund or opposite firm
- Client or company companion service, answering business partner inquiries concerning fund details requirements/eligibility
- Providing follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
- Prompt and correct finalization of client investing and dividend demands
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in a data entry or related role
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technology and systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the financial industry, particularly in Alternate Investments
- Knowledge of TD Ameritrade systems and processes
- Experience with data entry software and systems
- Certification in a related field, such as Microsoft Office or Salesforce
