This role involves working with various stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and financial institutions, to ensure seamless processing of transactions, resolve issues, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

• Completing daily tasks related to account processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers
• Coordinating with customers, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve issues and process transactions
• Assisting various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing
• Working on member cases and tasks assigned to you
• Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws
• Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams
• Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
• Logging, studying, and making important GL, account changes, and/or returns
• Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
• Completing daily balancing and department closing
• Obtaining information from customers for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests
• Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing budget transfer information
• Communicating with vendors to process budget transfers
• Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws
• Depositing check returns, studying member re-exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming customers for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers
• Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and court fees

What You'll Need for Success

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• A high school degree or GED
• Intermediate Excel and Word experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work prolonged hours in aid of business needs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data
• Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure situations
• Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department
• Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and customers
• Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
• Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for interest to detail
• Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance
• Must pass relevant arenaflex and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams
