Experienced Data Entry Associate – Remote Healthcare Claims Processing

Compensation and Benefits

* Competitive hourly rate of $15.00, with the potential to earn up to $18.00 after two months

• Flexible scheduling with three shifts available: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm CST, 11:00 am – 7:00 pm CST, and 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm CST
• Overtime may be required, but we'll work with you to ensure a healthy work-life balance

Job Summary

As a Data Entry Associate, you'll be responsible for processing incoming healthcare claim forms sent by our client. Your primary focus will be on digitizing claims in a form provided by the company, inputting details with high accuracy, and meeting expected keystrokes per hour or words per minute standards. You'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless data entry and processing.

Key Responsibilities

* Capture and validate complex data from various sources

• Classify images and documents accurately
• Pre-adjudicate documents and correct data as required
• Verify data from automated data extraction tools
• Complete assignments using multiple source documents to verify data or use additional information to do the work
• Work within established procedures and practices
• Work under close supervision to ensure high-quality results

Requirements

* Must be able to type at least 40+ WPM with high accuracy

• Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office and internet research
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining high accuracy rates
• Must pass an internet speed test (download of at least 25, upload of minimum 5, and ping ms equal to or less than 175)
• Basic knowledge of medical claims form processing is preferred
• Must have high-speed internet connection and meet speed requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must be able to clear any necessary criminal background checks and/or drug screenings
• Must live in one of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CO, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MS, MO, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, WY
