The Role

As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert at arenaflex, you'll play a crucial role in our mission by fielding customer inquiries and finding innovative ways to respond to various questions, issues, and concerns. You'll work in a collaborative and engaging environment, interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and providing excellent service through active listening. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling and carefully responding to all customer inquiries
  • Providing excellent customer service through active listening
  • Working with confidential customer information and treating it sensitively
  • Aiming to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive
  • Appropriately communicating with customers
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues
  • Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate
  • Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes
  • Providing feedback on call issues

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver exceptional customer service through active listening and empathy

  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Resolve issues on the first call by being proactive and resourceful
  • Communicate effectively with customers, both verbally and in writing
  • De-escalate issues when necessary and provide solutions to customers
  • Track call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes
  • Provide feedback on call issues to improve customer service

Requirements

* Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment

  • 6 months of customer service experience preferred
  • Over 18 years of age
  • Ability to type 25 wpm
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Logical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate Windows operating systems
  • Organization and work prioritization skills

Nice-to-Haves

* Previous experience in a customer-facing role

  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and customer service principles
  • Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
