The Early Career Apprentice Program
arenaflex's Early Career Apprentice Program is a 12-24 month program designed to provide recent graduates or individuals currently pursuing their associate's degree with hands-on experience and training in customer service and claims processing. As an apprentice, you will work part-time, ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, and receive an hourly pay rate between $18 - 25/hr. You will also have access to tuition assistance and hands-on training in customer service and claims processing.
Responsibilities of a Customer Service Processor Apprentice
As a Customer Service Processor Apprentice, you will play a key role in supporting customers and business operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting internal and external customers with inquiries related to insurance claims and policy information
- Investigating and resolving customer requests of basic complexity under general supervision
- Maintaining and reporting daily work conditions based on business unit needs
- Identifying and escalating system and/or policy issues as needed
- Supporting system and application testing to improve efficiency and user experience
- Receiving and responding to written and verbal communication from internal and external business partners
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be currently pursuing an associate's degree in Business, Communications, Risk Management, or other relevant fields
- Have strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Be able to interact professionally with internal and external customers
- Possess a problem-solving mindset and be able to assess and resolve customer inquiries efficiently
- Have organizational skills and be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Be adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling various customer needs
- Have basic technical proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office
- Be able to learn new systems and technologies quickly
