Job Summary

As a First Notice of Loss Representative, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers have a positive experience with us by responding to their inbound calls. You'll serve as the first contact for our customers who are reporting claims, handling incoming calls, and accurately processing information into the system for assignment to an adjuster. Responsibilities

As a First Notice of Loss Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the first contact for our customers who are reporting claims, handling incoming calls, and accurately processing information into the system for assignment to an adjuster.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to customers who have experienced an auto or property loss, determining appropriate coverage, and completing necessary follow-ups in a timely manner.
  • Efficiently navigating systems to access appropriate information to service callers.
  • Performing additional duties within the department, as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Contact Center experience handling inbound calls is a plus.
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a home high-speed internet connection.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy to customers during what may be a stressful time.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Ability to navigate multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Accurate keyboarding skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.

Our Contact Center is a hybrid remote environment, requiring time in the office as well as at home. Schedule

The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday (10:45am-7pm) and 1 Saturday a month (8:30am-4:30pm).

Salary and Benefits
