Responsibilities
As a Member Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, handling a wide range of deposit and loan transactions, and assisting with new account processing. Your primary focus will be on providing personalized support to our members, addressing their needs, and exceeding their expectations. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional member service on a wide variety of deposit, loan transactions, and new account processing.
- Effectively assessing members' needs and making appropriate referrals for arenaflex products and services.
- Resolving member issues and addressing member questions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Consistently demonstrating effective sales and service skills.
- Consulting with members regarding arenaflex products and services; recommending additional products and services to meet member needs.
- Periodically serving as floor manager to assess member needs and direct them to the appropriate source, ensuring maximum lobby efficiency and minimizing member waiting time.
- Performing all aspects of processing transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and the sale of monetary instruments in order to provide complete member service.
- Balancing cash, monetary instruments, and daily work to ensure member account integrity.
- Services existing deposit and loan accounts in order to meet member requirements and exceed expectations.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 6+ months of customer service and/or cash handling experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalency.
Nice-to-Haves
While not required, the following skills and qualifications would be beneficial in this role:
- Previous experience in a financial institution or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial products and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and financial transactions.
