As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in supporting our customer service team by researching and responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner.

Job Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Researching and responding to telephone and written inquiries from customers in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner
  • Evaluating customer situations, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions
  • Entering data accurately and efficiently into our systems
  • Maintaining high production and quality standards to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Collaborating with our customer service team to resolve customer inquiries and issues
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of customer service experience in a health care or health insurance environment
  • Experience evaluating customer situations, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions
  • Data entry and/or typing experience
  • Interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Requirements

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • 6 months of data entry experience in an office environment
  • Experience working with various lines of business, such as CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

Training and Development

As a temporary to permanent employee, you will receive comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in this role. Our 8-week training program will cover:

  • Basic computer skills, including navigation in Outlook and general computer skills
  • Data entry and typing skills
  • Industry-specific knowledge and regulatory requirements
  • Customer service best practices and communication skills

Work Environment and Culture

As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from home after completing your training period. However, you will be required to work fully onsite during your training period.
