Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician (Remote) – Clinical Customer Care Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer care by responding to inquiries from patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacists in a timely and empathetic manner.
- Assisting with prescription processing, including refills, prior authorizations, and insurance verifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Resolving issues related to medication orders, dosage instructions, and delivery timelines, demonstrating a deep understanding of pharmacy practices and regulations.
- Utilizing pharmacy software to accurately manage patient records and prescription details, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborating with pharmacists and other team members to ensure patient safety and satisfaction, promoting a culture of open communication and teamwork.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding the handling of prescription medications, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.
Qualifications
Required:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- An active and valid Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) or equivalent, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the field.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, terminology, and medications, ensuring accurate and informed decision-making.
