Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner - Provide accurate and helpful information about our products and services, including features, benefits, and usage - Resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and efficient manner - Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and operations, to resolve complex customer issues - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to ensure accurate and informed responses - Meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) - Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer support skills and knowledge
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, business, communications) preferred - 1-2 years of customer-facing experience in a retail or e-commerce environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a professional and empathetic manner - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with experience in customer relationship management (CRM) software a plus - Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the pet industry or a related field (e.g., veterinary medicine, animal behavior) - Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR)) - Experience with customer service software, such as Zendesk or Freshdesk - Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with customers in multiple languages - Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
