Key Responsibilities
As a Ticket/Gate Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for:
- Greeting and assisting customers with their ticketing and baggage check-in process
- Ensuring accurate travel documentation and making gate announcements
- Tagging and lifting baggage from scales to conveyor belts (up to 70 pounds)
- Operating loading bridges and opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors
- Escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport
- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues
What You Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
- Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
- Proficiency in English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic digital literacy
- Ability to pass a physical ability test (PAT) and a Customer Service Assessment
- Possess a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal (airport-specific requirements)
