Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk/Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering and making phone calls in a polite and efficient manner
  • Generating and responding to emails, ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients and team members
  • Performing data entry tasks using spreadsheets and our internal software to track records
  • Organizing and maintaining data in electronic databases, ensuring accuracy and integrity
  • Utilizing Excel for data entry and basic analysis, updating spreadsheets with large volumes of data
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Conducting data collection/research and input from various sources
  • Performing clerical duties, such as reviewing, scanning, printing, and organizing documents
  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through prompt and professional communication

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 1+ year of experience working in an office environment, preferably in a data entry or customer service role
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Basic knowledge of office software, including Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience with data entry software and electronic databases
  • Knowledge of worker's compensation cases and related records
  • Familiarity with industry-specific terminology and regulations
  • Certification in data entry or customer service, such as Certified Administrative Assistant (CAA) or Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR)
