Job Description:
As a Data Analyst in our High-Level Investigation, Content Group, you will be responsible for applying advanced analytical techniques to large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions. You will work closely with our content team to analyze client behavior, identify untapped client needs, and uncover new content opportunities. Your expertise will help us optimize our content release and episode discharge strategy, test marketing campaigns, and measure content performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Apply advanced analytical techniques, including data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, and AI, to large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions.
- Analyze client behavior, including type preferences and viewing patterns, to identify untapped client needs and uncover new content opportunities.
- Develop predictive models to forecast content engagement and inform procurement decisions.
- Streamline our content release and episode discharge methodology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Test marketing campaigns to optimize engagement and retention.
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance and inform strategic decisions.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis support to partners to drive business growth.
- Effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders through compelling storytelling and visualizations.
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on statistical analysis and AI methods.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and Python programming languages.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms, including decision trees, regression, and clustering.
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity to solve complex problems.
- Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud.
