Job Summary
As an Airline Supervisor Customer Service Professional, you will oversee airport passenger service operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and high-quality service. You will be responsible for monitoring staff performance, providing training, and maintaining a fair, respectful work environment. Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate passenger service operations to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Ensure compliance with company rules, regulations, and safety standards to maintain a safe and secure work environment
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback
- Provide training and development to subordinates to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Maintain customer satisfaction, safety, security, and employee relations through effective communication and conflict resolution
- Administer fair and respectful practices for all staff and third parties to promote a positive work culture
Minimum Requirements
* Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and days off, to meet the demands of a dynamic airport environment
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, to ensure compliance with company policies
- Ability to read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English language to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence to maintain accurate records and communicate with stakeholders
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Reports to work on a regular and timely basis to meet the demands of a fast-paced airport environment
- Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment to make informed decisions
Preferred Skills
* Ability to compute rate, percent, and interpret bar graphs to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to resolve complex issues
- Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables to perform complex tasks
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization to communicate key messages and promote a positive image
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
* Ability to lift 70 pounds to perform tasks that require manual labor
- Ability to handle stress and pressure to meet the demands of a dynamic airport environment
- Work in a high noise level environment to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Work with minimal supervision to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities
