Responsibilities

As a Production Manager/Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

• Job Production Management: Engineer and manage a wide variety of jobs/projects from start to finish, including interpreting customer requirements, developing and managing timelines throughout the production process, and ensuring quality throughout the process.
• Communication and Collaboration: Effectively manage communications with sales representatives, customers, outside services, and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.
• Job Specifications and Instructions: Interpret customer purchase orders/instructions accurately and provide clear, detailed instructions to the manufacturing team to ensure that job specifications are clearly communicated to all departments.
• Printing Department Knowledge: Demonstrate a basic understanding of all printing departments, including:

+ Digital Department + Prepress + Press Room + Bindery + Shipping + Mailing

• Cost Management: Manage jobs to estimated costs and ensure each is handled in the most cost-efficient manner.
• Additional Duties: May include other duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Attention to Detail: Must be detailed-oriented and have strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, sales representatives, and internal departments.
• Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills to provide exceptional service to our customers.
• Multi-Tasking: Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at one time.
• Scheduling and Time Management: Ability to manage schedules, meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and manage costs.
• Teamwork: Ability to work as a team member and have a positive attitude. Must be a dependable team player.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with MIS systems such as iQuote/ePS and Monarch, proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel, and knowledge of press parameters, ink coverage, and press layouts and folding signatures.
• Mailing and Variable Data Experience: Strong mailing and variable data experience, knowledge of postal rules and regulations, and ability to create layouts using Metrix software.
• Commercial Print and Direct Mail Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in commercial print and direct mail lettershop.
