Job Summary
As a Customer Service and Sales Professional, you'll be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to customers, learning about products, and providing information to sell entire projects. You'll work closely with your Department Supervisor and other associates to maintain a safe, clean, and shop-able environment, while ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and support. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for sales and customer service, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide fast, friendly service to customers, actively seeking out opportunities to assess their needs and provide assistance
- Learn about products using arenaflex tools and provide information to customers to sell entire projects
- Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department, while also handling basics in adjacent departments
- Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
- Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
- Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments
- Participate in sales and customer service initiatives to drive growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and services to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and support
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash, operating a cash register, and processing transactions
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and move freely throughout the store
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
