Job Summary

As a Customer Service/Sales Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, identifying sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, and close sales. Your primary goal will be to deliver a seamless customer experience, ensuring that customers leave our stores satisfied and eager to return.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide fast, friendly, and personalized customer service to customers in a fast-paced retail environment

  • Learn about products and services using our tools and training programs to provide accurate information to customers
  • Identify sales opportunities and make recommendations to customers to drive revenue growth
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products and services
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety policies and standards
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant experience preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Strong product knowledge and sales skills, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a sales or customer service role in a retail or wholesale environment

  • Knowledge of building materials, decor, electrical, flooring, garden, hardware, kitchen and bath, lumber, millwork, paint, plumbing, and tool rental products and services
  • Experience with sales software and technology, such as CRM systems and point-of-sale systems
  • Certification in sales or customer service, such as the Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) designations
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in multiple languages

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to process transactions and manage cash and credit sales
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly and efficiently in a retail environment
