Job Summary
We're seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to join our team in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling inbound calls, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless communication. Key Responsibilities
* Handle incoming telephone requests from excavators, homeowners, and facility operators
- Follow scripted questions to obtain information about customers and their work sites
- Enter data into a ticket format and identify work sites on a mapping system similar to Google Maps
- Provide excellent customer service at all times, ensuring positive relationships with customers, peers, and management
- Process information quickly and accurately using outlined criteria
- Accurately read digital maps and provide clear, concise information to customers
- Demonstrate an interest in public safety and understand the importance of our work
- Work effectively and independently in a home or office environment
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED
- Ability to listen and problem-solve effectively
- General computer skills
- Ability to adhere to a work schedule, including good attendance
- Ability to work as a team and be self-motivated
- Willingness to work overtime based on business needs
- Availability to work during operating hours of the call center
- Must pass a criminal background check
Preferred Qualifications
* Prior customer service experience (not required, but a plus!)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with mapping systems and digital tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
