Job Responsibilities:

As a Database Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement database solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business
• Analyzing and resolving complex database issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum data availability
• Performing routine database maintenance tasks, including file upkeep, backup and recovery, and SQL job management
• Developing and implementing database performance tuning and optimization strategies to improve query execution and overall system performance
• Providing expert-level support for SQL Server, including troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization
• Staying up-to-date with the latest database technologies, trends, and best practices to ensure arenaflex remains at the forefront of innovation

Key Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in database administration, with a focus on SQL Server
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL Server, including database design, development, and optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization, including indexing, query optimization, and statistics management
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation tools
• Experience with cloud-based database solutions, including Azure SQL Database and AWS RDS
• Strong understanding of database security, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with arenaflex's proprietary database management system

• Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence tools, including ETL processes and data visualization
• Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Strong understanding of data governance and compliance regulations, including GDPR and HIPAA
