Remote Dispatcher and Logistics Coordinator

Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Remote Dispatcher and Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team. This fully remote position will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling, tracking, and management of our fleet operations, ensuring efficient and timely deliveries nationwide. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and is proficient in utilizing dispatch software and GPS tracking systems. Key responsibilities include receiving and processing orders, assigning drivers and vehicles based on availability and location, monitoring vehicle progress via GPS, providing real-time updates to customers and internal teams, troubleshooting any delivery delays or issues, maintaining accurate dispatch records, and optimizing routes for efficiency. You will also manage communication with drivers, ensuring adherence to schedules and company policies, and assist in the onboarding and training of new dispatch personnel. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in managing transportation operations. A strong understanding of logistics principles, route planning, and fleet management software is essential. Excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and strong decision-making capabilities under pressure are critical. Familiarity with DOT regulations is a plus.
