Job Summary
As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills. You'll work closely with our Retail and Institutional Service Teams, as well as external partners, to ensure seamless execution of transactions and resolution of complex issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents
- Process Corporate Activity Activities, settle/reconcile transactions, and process/reconcile returns activity
- Analyze complex/escalated issues and perform testing/validation of new innovation enhancements and vendor modifications
- Complete projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
- Engage with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
- Collaborate with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite agencies, and other external business partners to resolve issues and improve processes
Duties Analysis
* Review subscription deals or transfer requests
- Identify and address Client/Advisor account exceptions
- Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Reconcile Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
- Resolve discrepancies across BOS and Fund Companies
- Review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding errors
- Troubleshoot internal/external system issues or concerns
- Identify root cause of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
- Provide method or innovation service alternatives to Management
- Remediate transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm
- Respond to business partner inquiries concerning Fund details requirements/eligibility
- Provide follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
- Promptly and accurately finalize client investing and dividend demands
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems a plus
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the financial industry, particularly in Alternate Investments
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Familiarity with data entry software and systems
- Experience with testing/validation of new innovation enhancements and vendor modifications
- Certification in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field a plus
