Job Summary
As an Experienced Data Analyst – E2E Transportation Operations, you will be responsible for leading exploratory research, including hypothesis testing and essential statistical testing, to drive data-driven decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data from various sources, develop predictive models, and create actionable insights to inform business strategies. Your expertise in data analysis, visualization, and storytelling will help us optimize our transportation operations, improve customer satisfaction, and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and estimate retail tests to measure the effectiveness of new initiatives
- Develop dashboards and metrics for key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Expedited Shipment
- Conduct driver analysis to identify the root cause of late deliveries
- Analyze differences in store and market performance to inform business decisions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data from various sources and develop predictive models
- Lead exploratory research, including hypothesis testing and essential statistical testing
- Develop and implement processes to screen, analyze, and advise on key business decisions
- Apply SQL and visualization skills to create reports that showcase the results of your investigations
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science)
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related field
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts, including regression, decision trees, random forests, and clustering
- Proficiency in Python or other programming languages
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
