Experienced Data Analyst & Online Chat Assistant – Remote Opportunity at arenaflex

Key Responsibilities:

As a Data Analyst & Online Chat Assistant at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining data-driven reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel
• Designing and implementing data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop data-driven solutions
• Analyzing large datasets to identify trends and patterns that inform business decisions
• Creating clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI and storytelling principles
• Automating business processes and improving exception-based reporting
• Partnering with IT and business analysts to discover and analyze new data variables
• Evaluating data quality and resolving discrepancies
• Validating data against business requirements and researching data errors
• Participating in the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and plan & methods
• Examining and validating metrics to ensure effectiveness and providing recommendations to team leaders

Essential Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience in comprehensive data analysis

• Strong experience working with Power BI, including dimensions, measures, filters, computed fields, and DAX queries
• Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code
• Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex SQL queries to create files and analytics
• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other big data integrations
• Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other procedures
• Problem-solving skills with statistical analysis and large data sets

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query

• Experience with Smartsheets
• Strong effort in the progression and timely completion of projects and deadlines
• Experience with data governance and data quality management
