Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. As a key member of our Alternate Investments division, you'll be responsible for processing trade deal purchases, identifying and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents, and reconciling transactions and returns activity. You'll also be expected to analyze complex issues, test and validate new technology enhancements, and communicate effectively with our Retail and Institutional Service Teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents
- Reconcile transactions and returns activity, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Analyze complex issues and provide solutions to Management
- Test and validate new technology enhancements and provider modifications
- Communicate effectively with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
- Collaborate with fund companies, transfer agents, and other external business partners to resolve issues and improve processes
- Provide follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite customer demands or remediate issues
- Promptly and accurately finalize client investing and dividend demands
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the financial industry, particularly in Alternate Investments or Corporate Actions
- Knowledge of regulatory commitments, such as 2340 and 15C3-3
- Familiarity with tax coding and corrections
- Experience with internal/external system improvements or concerns
- Certification in data entry, customer service, or a related field
