What You'll Do
As a Customer Support Representative on our Veterinary Assistance team, you'll be responsible for:
- Connecting with veterinary facilities to arrange prescription approvals, resolve client issues, and explain order requests
- Examining and resolving issues to determine suitable solutions for clients and center partners, and following up as needed to resolve issues
- Completing data entry of solutions into arenaflex's healthcare software
- Maintaining a high level of quality through data entry and order handling of veterinary pharmacy orders
- Working with empathy, attention to detail, patience, compassion, and thoughtfulness to clients and partners alike
- Working with a willingness to learn and grow, and being open to feedback and continuous improvement
- Communicating with veterinary facilities via phone and other channels, using our internal software and systems to explore solutions and record client notes
- Expecting a significant portion of the average business day to be spent on outbound veterinary facility/client phone contacts
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Ability to multitask (e.g., chatting on the phone while exploring on the computer and taking notes)
- A strong work ethic, with a focus on ownership and self-motivation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License from the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy (if required)
- Strong decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to change as needed to meet business requirements
- Flexibility to adjust your schedule and stay at work longer than required, as needed
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Ability to pass a background check
- A strong commitment to punctuality and attendance
