Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operationalizing data pipelines to support business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data services. You will work closely with our data architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. You will also collaborate with our DevOps team to ensure that our data pipelines are scalable, reliable, and secure.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop data pipelines to support business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data services
- Collaborate with data architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions
- Work with our DevOps team to ensure that our data pipelines are scalable, reliable, and secure
- Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes
- Design and implement data integration and ETL/ELT processes using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS
- Develop and maintain data quality and data governance processes
- Collaborate with our data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports using Tableau and Power BI
- Collaborate with our business stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
Essential Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience designing and operationalizing data pipelines with large and complex datasets
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and IICS
- 3+ years of experience in data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud technologies, such as ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics
- Broad experience working with different data sources, including SQL, Oracle database, flat files (csv, delimited), web services, and XML
- High-level SQL skills and strong understanding of data modeling concepts
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality processes
- Ability to work in a high-speed agile development environment
- Availability to work on a rotational basis, including weekends, holidays, and 24/7 on-call responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
* BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent programming experience
- Azure certifications
- Experience executing data integration strategies, such as event/message-based integration (Kafka, Azure Event Hub)
- Experience with Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience conveying data solutions through agile software development processes
- Familiarity with the retail industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with SAP integration tools, including SAP BW
- Experience with UC4 Job Scheduler
