As a Volunteer Virtual Livestream Event Moderator, you'll be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about creating a welcoming and inclusive virtual space where everyone feels valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities

As a Virtual Livestream Event Moderator, you'll be responsible for: ### Audience Engagement

• Welcome and energize the virtual audience during live sessions, setting the tone for a positive and engaging experience.
• Monitor and interact with audience comments in the chat, responding to questions and keeping the energy upbeat.
• Share event updates, encourage participation, and maintain a positive, inclusive environment that fosters meaningful connections among attendees.

### Live Session Moderation

• Host and moderate livestreamed conversations, panel discussions, and Q&A sessions with performers and speakers, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all participants.
• Guide one-on-one conversations between audience members and featured guests, providing a safe and supportive space for meaningful dialogue.
• Manage timing and transitions between segments to keep the event on schedule, working closely with the production team to troubleshoot any live communication issues.

### Community Building

• Foster a welcoming and supportive virtual space where everyone feels included, valued, and respected.
• Help amplify the festival's themes of self-love and resilience by encouraging meaningful dialogue and connections among attendees.

Who You Are

We're looking for charismatic and empathetic individuals who are passionate about creating engaging experiences and fostering meaningful connections. If you're:

• A confident and empathetic communicator who enjoys connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
• Experienced in facilitating conversations or moderating discussions (or excited to learn and develop your skills).
• Comfortable using livestreaming platforms like Zoom, YouTube Live, or StreamYard.
• A team player who can think on your feet and adapt to changing dynamics, working collaboratively with the production team and other moderators.
• Available to dedicate 5-10 hours per week leading up to the festival and full availability on February 13, 2025.
