Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service through inbound and outbound communications, including phone, chat, social media, and email interactions
  • Working with internal and external customers to ensure a high-quality customer service experience and foster growth
  • Asking probing questions to identify customer issues or concerns and resolving them in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining accurate account information and updating customer records as needed
  • Utilizing next call avoidance techniques to mitigate future questions and improve customer satisfaction
  • Scheduling delivery orders and handling basic negotiation skills for new and returning customers
  • Handling general customer issues, such as service order input, executing emergency scripts, closing uncontrollable loss accounts, and answering basic pricing questions
  • De-escalating customer situations by following arenaflex's customer complaint resolution policy
  • Sending copies of statements and invoices to customers, performing soft collections, and handling cash transactions via phone
  • Supporting the set-up of new customer accounts and meeting or exceeding minimum performance standards outlined in company policy

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 or more year(s) of customer service experience
  • Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with typing and data entry experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on team building and developing a positive rapport with company employees and customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Access
  • U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or authorization to work in the United States
  • No requirement for sponsorship for an employment visa
