Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at arenaflex. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and systems that support our Media business. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design and implement data pipelines, and ensure the smooth operation of our data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop large-scale data pipelines and systems using cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and analysts to gather requirements and design data pipelines that meet business needs
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using SQL, Python, and other programming languages
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing data validation, data governance, and data encryption best practices
- Work with data architects to design and implement data models, data warehouses, and data lakes
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and scripts to streamline data processing and delivery
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of data pipelines and systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and errors in a timely and efficient manner
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Strong knowledge and experience with Python, SQL, and other programming languages
- Experience with cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
- Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and data governance
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data engineering principles
- Experience with automated workflows and scripts using tools such as Docker and GitLab
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS Lake Formation, Google Cloud Data Fusion, and Azure Data Factory
- Experience with data security and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS
