About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Bookkeeping team. As a Senior GL Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in driving financial reporting and analysis, process improvements, and compliance with accounting standards. You will work closely with our Senior Bookkeeping Supervisor and other team members to achieve business objectives and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
- Be a key owner of the monthly close cycle for arenaflex and external entities for assigned functional areas
- Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP combined financial statements using accepted methodologies
- Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys
- Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external stakeholders regarding significant accounting matters
- Conduct special investigations and projects to further our cycle improvement initiatives

Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls
- Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite (or similar tools)
- CPA certification (or more)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, oral, and written skills, with a strong command of English
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience with financial planning and analysis
- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manage and process large amounts of data
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis software
- Strong leadership and team management skills
