Job Summary

As an Experienced Full Stack Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring accurate and timely medication dispensing, and contributing to the growth and development of arenaflex's pharmacy team. You will work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and services. This role requires a strong commitment to patient safety, accuracy, and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, under direct supervision.

  • Use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including greeting patients, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to promote patient satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures, including those related to patient safety and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing, including the handling of prescription errors and discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient information, medication lists, and inventory management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager, personnel pharmacist, and store supervisor.

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Previous experience in a retail or healthcare setting, preferably in a pharmacy environment.
  • Strong math skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy systems and software.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to patient safety and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

* Six months of experience in a retail or healthcare setting, preferably in a pharmacy environment.

  • Previous experience with arenaflex or a similar pharmacy chain.
  • % certification or willingness to obtain certification through arenaflex's training program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
