Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Customs Trade Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely resolution of client inquiries
- Processing and arranging customs clearance for shipments from data sets, SOPs, duty books, web, or customs
- Handling and processing various import-related documentation for submission to US Customs and collaborating with participating government agencies (PGAs)
- Maintaining and updating all shipment documentation in accordance with record-keeping requirements
- Complying with all international importing and exporting regulations
- Working closely with internal staff, divisions, other arenaflex activities, and clients to deliver high-quality service
- Processing organizational financier shipments
- Managing distant filings
- Ensuring adherence to all service and operational strategies
- Performing other duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., logistics, supply chain management, international trade)
- High School Certificate or GED required; no industry experience necessary
- Minimum of 6 months of work experience preferred
- Data entry/computer experience required
- Proficiency in MS Office, Viewpoint, and office equipment (telephone, fax, scanner, printer, scanner)
- Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Capacity to handle high volumes of work and time-sensitive tasks
- Ability to utilize various systems and reference materials
- Collaborative and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in customs clearance, trade compliance, or logistics
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and procedures
- Familiarity with customs software and systems
- Certification in customs brokerage or trade compliance (e.g., CTPAT, ACE)
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
