Job Summary

As a Customer Support Representative on our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to TurboTax customers via phone and chat. You'll work closely with our team to resolve customer issues, provide product information, and ensure that every customer interaction is a positive one. With the flexibility to create your own schedule and the opportunity to work with a variety of industries, this role is perfect for those who are tech-savvy, customer-focused, and eager to take their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer support to TurboTax customers via phone and chat

  • Assist customers with software navigation, help customers locate prior returns and amendments, and escalate calls when necessary
  • Work closely with our team to resolve customer issues and provide product information
  • Utilize various support channels, including phone support with video chat capability and traditional chat support
  • Meet or exceed key performance metrics to earn incentives and bonuses
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and implement process improvements

Essential Qualifications

* Sincere desire to assist the customer and provide exceptional support

  • Tech-savvy and avid computer user with experience working with multiple systems
  • Ability to multi-task and navigate multiple systems with ease
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly tone and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work in a quiet, uninterrupted space with a professional appearance (if on camera)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a customer support role, preferably in the finance or accounting software industry

  • Familiarity with TurboTax software and products
  • Experience working with a variety of industries and customer types
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

* Earn up to $19 per hour, with extra incentives available as tax day approaches

  • Contractors on this program who meet or exceed key metrics earn on average the equivalent of $16-$19/hour during peak times and $15.60-$17.50/hour during non-peak times
  • Contractors are guaranteed a minimum of 45 minutes for each hour if available for the full 60 minutes

Important Information

* We are currently unable to work with contractors residing in California, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington

  • Contractors must successfully pass a criminal background check
  • The relationship between you and arenaflex is a contractual relationship; you will remain an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment
  • arenaflex will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with arenaflex
