Enterprise Data Strategy @ arenaflex
The Credit and Fraud Risk (CFR) Organization at arenaflex enables business growth by reducing credit & fraud risk and maintaining our customers' trust in the safety of our virtual products. Our Digital Risk Products & Data Strategy (RPDS) team is the backbone of all risk decisions and helps build the digital products for risk control throughout the customer lifecycle. The Enterprise Data Strategy team is a critical part of the RPDS team and is responsible for strategizing across prospecting, acquisition, underwriting, and customer control to drive innovation in credit & fraud risk techniques & decisioning models.
Key Responsibilities
As a member of the Enterprise Data Strategy team, you will:
- Support the development of innovative and impactful strategies through our strategic partnerships to drive business growth and credit & fraud risk control excellence
- Support the Enterprise Data Strategy throughout the customer lifecycle via data-driven and risk-based total principles
- Analyze present and new data assets to identify opportunities to optimize our data solutions & purchases and address business needs
- Review and display data quality, integrity, and freshness
- Analyze present data to develop metrics to provide robust controls and insights
- Collaborate with new data and existing partners to identify new data opportunities and enhance present data change processes
- Closely partner with colleagues across CFR Data Strategy, Product Owners, Compliance, CFR Risk Strategy, CFR Fraud Strategy, and Decisions Science
- Support the team with third-party relationships management and adherence to arenaflex's Third Party Lifecycle Management program
- Have consultative skills capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and global environment
Competencies and Experience
We're looking for candidates with:
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and across a matrixed organization to deliver solutions at high speed
- Ability to manage and lead large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders
- Good communication and influencing skills with the ability to translate data and analytics into business insights and recommendations, conceptualize, and promote ideas
- Strong technical skills to perform data analysis, analytics, and matrices tracking/reporting
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, Spark, SAS, and familiarity with big data and cloud environments
- Experience in a financial services company in data or process function
- Knowledge of Credit Risk and/or Fraud Risk standards, practices, or external Credit or Fraud Risk data assets preferred
- Master's Degree or higher required, focus in a quantitative discipline preferred
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fluid environment
