Join our Remote Team as a Level 1 Chat Support Agent

We're seeking a highly skilled and committed Level 1 Chat Support Agent to join our remote team. As a key member of our support team, you'll play a vital role in assisting customers through live chat, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring a positive support experience. Key Responsibilities:

* Assist customers with processing payments and billing issues, account access issues, modifying plans and add-ons, processing cancellations and refunds, updating account information, and questions about different pricing plans available to customers

  • Handle 2-3 concurrent live chats, providing timely and effective support to our customers
  • Utilize help desk tools like Help Scout, Intercom, Freshdesk, or Zendesk to manage customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to provide accurate and helpful information to customers
  • Collaborate with our team to resolve complex customer issues and provide a seamless support experience

Essential Qualifications:

* Over 3 years of level 1 chat support experience handling billing and account-related queries

  • Experience with help desk tools like Help Scout, Intercom, Freshdesk, or Zendesk
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple customer inquiries simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving customer issues

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience supporting customers using WordPress (a plus)

  • Familiarity with CRM software and customer database management
  • Knowledge of industry-standard customer support practices and procedures
  • Certification in customer support or a related field (a plus)

Additional Information:

* This is a fully remote position with a standard 40-hour fixed-schedule work week

  • It is essential that you have a reliable internet connection as any downtime will significantly impact performance on live chat support
  • The exact work schedule depends on the client that you are assigned to, but is often an afternoon or night schedule and so having flexibility when it comes to schedule is important
