Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team and support our administrative functions. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining sensitive patient and administrative data. Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Data Entry: Accurately input patient information, administrative records, and other health care-related data into our secure systems, ensuring compliance with health care regulations and privacy standards.
  • Data Verification: Regularly review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, making necessary corrections when discrepancies are found to maintain the highest standards of data integrity.
  • Record Maintenance: Update and maintain electronic health records (EHR) and other databases in compliance with health care regulations and privacy standards, ensuring seamless access to critical patient information.
  • Quality Control: Collaborate with team members to conduct routine audits of data entries to ensure ongoing accuracy and reliability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Reporting: Generate periodic reports from the data systems to support clinical and administrative decision-making, providing valuable insights to inform strategic initiatives.
  • Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA and other regulatory standards to protect patient confidentiality and data integrity, upholding the highest standards of data security and compliance.

Requirements

To succeed as a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior experience in data entry, preferably within the health care industry, is an advantage, but not a requirement. We are open to candidates with transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, data entry software, and electronic health record (EHR) systems is required. Familiarity with other health care software and systems is a plus.
