Role Description The Learning & Development Instructional Program Specialist supports the design, delivery, and coordination of high-quality learning experiences across Best Friends Animal Society. This role focuses on execution and program support, partnering with Learning & Development leadership and subject matter experts to translate learning priorities into engaging, accessible, and well-organized training experiences. The position blends instructional design, facilitation, and learning system support to ensure programs are delivered consistently and effectively in alignment with organizational needs and guiding principles. Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of experience supporting instructional design, learning facilitation, or training programs.
  • Experience coordinating multi-session learning programs or recurring development initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of learning management systems; Workday Learning experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a remote work environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to travel up to 20 percent of work time as needed.

Benefits

  • This position’s hiring range is anticipated to be $59,000 - $63,000 depending on experience, plus great benefits!
