Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Alternate Investments (Remote Opportunity)

Job Summary
As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to data entry, reconciliation, and analysis. You'll work closely with our Retail and Institutional Service Teams to ensure that client transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. This is a remote opportunity, and you'll have the flexibility to work from home while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
* Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents
- Process Corporate Activity Activities, settle/reconcile transactions, and process/reconcile returns activity
- Analyze complex/escalated issues and perform testing/validation of new innovation enhancements and vendor modifications
- Complete projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
- Engage with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
- Collaborate with fund companies, transfer agents, counterparties, and other external business partners to resolve issues and improve processes
Duties and Responsibilities
* Review subscription deals or transfer requests
- Identify and address client/Advisor account exceptions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Reconcile Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
- Resolve issues and discrepancies between BOS and fund companies
- Review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding errors
- Troubleshoot internal/external system issues or concerns
- Identify and resolve root causes of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc.
- Provide method or innovation service alternatives to Management
- Remediate transfer issues with the Fund or Counterparty
- Respond to business partner inquiries concerning Fund details requirements/eligibility
- Provide follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
- Promptly and accurately finalize client investing and dividend demands
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
- Experience with data entry software and systems a plus
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the financial industry, particularly in Alternate Investments
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
- Certification in data entry or a related field a plus
