Job Summary

As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for ensuring our Discord server remains a safe and enjoyable space for all users. This part-time, remote position requires a flexible and self-motivated individual who can work independently to manage user reports, enforce community guidelines, and maintain a positive online environment. Key Responsibilities

* Moderate user interactions on our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules

• Delete messages that violate our community guidelines, including but not limited to:

+ Hate speech or discriminatory language + Spam or self-promotional content + Inflammatory or provocative comments

• Ban users who repeatedly violate our community guidelines, after thorough investigation and review
• Mute users who have violated our community guidelines, to prevent further disruptions
• Investigate user reports of rule violations, working closely with our team to resolve issues and maintain a positive online environment
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community guidelines and rules
• Provide excellent customer service to users, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Stay up-to-date with arenaflex's community guidelines and rules, ensuring that you're aware of any changes or updates

Essential Qualifications

* Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of flexibility and adaptability
• Familiarity with Discord and online community management tools, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments in a variety of situations

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in community management, moderation, or a related field

• Familiarity with arenaflex's community guidelines and rules, or a willingness to learn and adapt to our unique culture and values
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Discord and other online community management tools
• Experience working in a remote team environment, with a high level of self-motivation and discipline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments in a variety of situations
