Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch support to our patients and customers through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat. You'll work closely with our team to resolve customer inquiries, address concerns, and provide personalized solutions that meet their unique needs. This is a part-time remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home and enjoy a better work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

* Utilize arenaflex's solution information section methodology and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering information into the proper system

  • Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing
  • Investigate to obtain missing medication data, decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolve all information section-related exceptions
  • Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed
  • Resolve customer complaints by assessing, gathering data, making revisions, and resubmitting for processing as per individual plan requirements
  • Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and at other locations, and identify and escalate issues to senior-level staff as necessary
  • Acquire a dynamic pharmacy permit or certification within the first 90 days and maintain a current pharmacy permit or certification

Essential Capabilities

* Basic computer skills, including: + Starting and closing the computer + Using a mouse to point and click + Starting and closing programs + Switching between programs + Saving files + Printing reports or accessing data online

  • Essential web search skills, including:

+ Opening a browser + Typing URLs in the address bar + Using a search engine + Bookmarking a website + Navigating using back/forward/stop buttons + Completing online forms

  • Intermediate-level keyboarding skills, including:

+ Typing at least 25 words per minute + Typing by memory + Organizing reports

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Capabilities

* At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment

  • At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy technician with a certification or registration by the state Board of Pharmacy or a nationally recognized certification agency
  • Experience providing customer support to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction
  • Moderate to advanced-level keyboarding skills, including:

+ Typing at least 35 words per minute + Typing by memory + Designing reports

  • Familiarity with Spanish and English
