Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Big Data Software Engineer to join our team in Chandler, USA. As a Senior Big Data Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing large-scale data processing systems that drive business insights and decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop innovative solutions that meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead complex projects and initiatives within the technical area, collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

• Contribute to the development of large-scale data processing architectures, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and report on projects and initiatives related to data science and analytics, including upgrades and enhancements.
• Conduct thorough technical assessments of complex issues, evaluating advances and methodologies to identify optimal solutions.
• Resolve complex technical issues and lead teams to meet existing client needs or potential new client needs, leveraging strong knowledge of capabilities, strategies, systems, or compliance requirements.
• Collaborate and communicate with colleagues, peers, and mid-level managers to resolve technical issues and achieve objectives.
• Lead projects and serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and direction to less experienced staff.

Required Capabilities

* 3+ years of programming experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

• 3+ years of active experience with Hadoop.
• 3+ years of experience with Teradata.
• 3+ years of experience with MongoDB.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS.
• 3+ years of experience with GitHub and Bitbucket.
• 3+ years of experience planning, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and reporting for projects and initiatives.
• 3+ years of experience with Python and Unix/Shell scripting, Scala, Flash, HBase, Oozie, Flume, and Kafka.
• 3+ years of experience with Ansible.

Desired Capabilities

* Strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written) across all levels of technical and non-technical teams.

• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and have a proactive mindset.
• Experience in designing ETL data streams using mapping/workflows to extract data from SQL Server and Data Migration and Change from Prophet/Access/Excel Sheets using SQL Server SSIS.
• Related experience working as a programmer at arenaflex.
