Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist to join our team in Tempe, AZ. As a Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for scanning, tracking, and processing claims and claims correspondence. You will also be required to research any claims that come back with errors, correct the information, and push through the system. This is an entry-level claims data entry role that requires a high level of service and attention to detail.

Daily Responsibilities

As a Claims Processor - Data Entry Specialist, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Scanning, tracking, and processing claims and claims correspondence
  • Researching any claims that come back with errors to identify and correct the issue
  • Entering data into electronic records with high accuracy (97% or higher)
  • Meeting production numbers and attendance requirements
  • Entering 20 claims per hour with 97% accuracy
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

Schedule and Pay

* Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm

  • Pay: $15 per hour

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 6+ months of experience working in data entry (any setting that requires a good amount of typing)
  • Typing skills: comfortable with high-volume data entry, able to type 35+ WPM
  • Ability to work from home (WFH) with a smart phone, high-speed internet, and a private work space
  • Fully vaccinated

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in the healthcare industry
  • Knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs)
  • Familiarity with data entry software and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
