Primary Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Support Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing multiple databases to ensure accurate record-keeping and data organization
  • Entering required grant data accurately into NRS to meet monthly, quarterly, and year-end deadlines
  • Maintaining appropriate records and following required procedures and practices for attendance and assessment data
  • Maintaining required security of student data in compliance with FERPA
  • Completing regular error checks and data clean-up in NRS to ensure accurate reporting
  • Ensuring data is accessible in a timely manner to staff and other stakeholders
  • Organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet all local, state, and program deadlines
  • Monitoring and evaluating student outcomes, including pre/post testing with state-mandated assessments
  • Participating in staff meetings and professional development
  • Scanning documents and labeling items
  • Inventorying supplies
  • Performing basic word processing
  • Organizing digital files and materials
  • Preparing mailings and assisting with filing
  • Other assignments as required

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures; knowledge of MS Office Software
  • Must have Excel knowledge
  • Ability to perform office work quickly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy; plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively; communicate effectively; work cooperatively with others; and work under pressure with frequent interruptions

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. The employee must possess normal cognitive abilities including the ability to learn, recall and apply certain practices and policies. Frequently sitting and/or remaining in a stationary position for long periods of time. Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

  • A salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience
