Job Summary
As a Financial Service Trainee, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients of credit unions and banks across the nation, handling inbound calls and occasionally returning messages from customers seeking assistance. You'll manage banking transactions, access sensitive information, and ensure the security of customer accounts through thorough ID verification. You'll address a variety of banking inquiries, such as account reconciliations, online banking issues, fund transfers, and loan-related questions.
Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service on behalf of credit unions and banks by handling inbound calls and returning messages.
- Service banking transactions by accessing sensitive information and completing transactions across various computer platforms.
- Verify caller identities to prevent fraud and protect customer accounts.
- Address and resolve a wide range of banking inquiries, including account reconciliations, online banking issues, and fund transfers.
- Educate customers about products and services related to their accounts and banking needs.
- Meet performance metrics, including average talk time, chat duration, and quality review scores.
- Participate in cross-training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge within the organization.
Requirements
* High school diploma or GED required.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Experience in customer service, particularly in a banking or financial services environment is a plus.
- Proficient typing skills, with a minimum of 40 net words per minute.
- Ability to navigate multiple computer programs simultaneously and troubleshoot basic computer issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging customer interactions effectively.
- Excellent attendance record and ability to work scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
