Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service, support, and solutions to their inquiries, concerns, and needs. You'll work closely with our internal teams, including Dispatch, Billing, and Sales, to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients via phone, email, and other communication channels

  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
  • Receive and process requests from multiple sources, including phone, fax, e-Commerce, and in-person
  • Coordinate home equipment service requests with Dispatch for prompt delivery
  • Engage in active listening with customers, confirming or clarifying information and diffusing angry customers as needed
  • Provide customers with product and service information, including Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor sources
  • Verify medical necessity, insurance coverage, and physician orders for all insurance-assigned services
  • Follow policy and work instructions to ensure the Billing Department has the correct paperwork to complete insurance
  • Meet or exceed department metrics while providing excellent customer service
  • Make sales or recommendations for products or services that may complement client needs, as applicable
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • 6 months of relevant customer service experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Attention to detail
  • Good data entry skills
  • Proficiency with computers, with strong typing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a call center or customer service environment

  • Knowledge of medical equipment and services
  • Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor sources
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with internal teams
